There is a tool shop on queen street where I've seen machines like that. It's about a 30 second walk from City TV; direction towards the condom shack. East?
Also you can contact busy bee tools and see if they got or can get you one. I doubt you can find one to beat the price in your link in canada. A lathe/mill/drill might be a more economical option when later on you feel you need a lathe. The cost of the attachments, bits, tools, etc, etc will eventually cost a lot more than that machine! |

I've been to both busy bee and atlas. (atlas is a tad more expensive...ok a lot more expensive...but they carry a higher end line they may actually have what your looking for size wise)..busy bee is where I get all my wood and metal tools. great quality for a great price..(oh god I sound like a commercial)...I've been looking at the very mill that your looking for..just slightly bigger.
follow this link..(it may not take you to the exact item..they have the frames on their web site set up funny but it is under mill machines..) http://www.busybeetools.com/ your looking for model numbers B1976 or b1977 they are a tad larger than the one you are looking at....220v..but for the size of the one your looking at I'd consider buying from harbor...I've ordered from them before and find them to be trustworthy...and at 399 u.s you'll likely get it to your door for under 650. |
