I did a lot of the work already taking useless weight off the canopy and frame. You'd either need an engine bigger than 35cc or to move it a full inch from the firewall.

You'd also need to remove the covering and fix the tail and check the airfoil spacing and surfaces.

hmmm sounds like too many cooks in the kitchen at this point.... Like I said I love a challenge ... and that would be a winter project.... at this point it would require nothing less than a complete tear down.. Too much money for this project.. sorry....

The one thing mentioned over at F/G was about lead in the tail... this is the same thought that I had and something I would expect to find.. A builders trick to hide balance weight.. Do a PRE balance and then bury the weight out of sight..

I found just that sort of thing buried in the right out board edge of the elevator of my telemaster from the guy who orginally built it..

It definately is in the elevator. it meeded 15 trim just to fly level, and that was only at one throttle setting.

Tried 3 different angles. The first one was the opposite direction because the firewall angle was off.

Found the thread where Peter says he has been working on this plane for over 2 months and had to mod the fuse..

From the looks of the pic I would have to say that he built ? assembled ?? it..
