Gary,

Thanks for the instructions. I can now see what I was doing wrong. I was trying to post pictures that were too large.

Unless you want to get pictures from all 3 days.

Rammer, yes all three day! I am sure some will be there all three days but others will only be at the show for one day. This way anyone who wants their picture in the group shot for posting on RCC will be able to be included. I will post the pics for all three day!

I was also thinking that, for anyone who wants a hard copy of the pic, they could either download it from the RCC site once it was posted and print it out or I could arrange to get a photo to those who want one. Put your name and address on a slip of paper and give it to me at the show and a Toonie to cover the cost of the ink, photo paper and postage and I will print them out on my photo printer and send it out to you. This will be a photo store quality colour picture, 5 X 7". This is just another idea for those who would like a permenent keepsake of the show.

I look forward to meeting everyone there!

I hate to use a four letter word but l will - "DUTY"
Now another four letter word - "FREE"
I just spoke on the phone with customs here in Niagara
and thought l would pass the info on to you guys.
ALL RC HOBBY RELATED ITEMS ARE DUTY FREE!!
As long as it is for your own personal use including fuel.
So aircraft, engines, radios, batteries, parts etc. are not
charged duty fees. You must in Ontario convert purchases
to Canadian $$ and pay GST & PST though. The PST may
or may not be applicable depending on your Prov.
So when in Toledo buy lots.

It has been for several years. Depending how long you were down, how much booty the gang is bringing back, and the disposition of the customs officer...you may get off scott free!!!!

Nony,
ALL RC related goods are duty free no matter how long you were
away or how much you spend, as l said l phoned customs and was very
clear with my questions to them. As long as its for your personal use
its duty free you are only responsible for GST & PST.

If you buy something, you have to pay the state tax(es) plus gst and pst when you come back? Wont state taxes kinda eat up any savings?

Not really as long as you get a decent deal to begin with. It's up
to you to be aware of comparison pricing if you can do as well or
better here then do buy here (unless its an item N/A in Canada)
The state tax in Ohio is 6% and now that the exchange rate is much
lower you can come out ahead, last year probably not. lMO
It takes a bit of homework and some math but that's half the fun

Right...but my point was that, if conditions are right, and the customs gods are smiling, they may send you on your way without having to pay GST and PST.....

Sometimes you get lucky....
