We are very excited to have several major sponsors come on board for the big event. First off is Apex Business Machines & Supplies LTd. who are donating ...drum roll please... an Acer Aspire Notebook Computer This grand prize will be drawn at the end of the contest and only pilots who have flown the complete event will be eligible (you do not have to fly in the freestyle ).
Also on board again this year is Penzoil Ten Minute oil change who will be donating almost a $1000 dollars worth of merchandise
Also showing their mettle is Ideal Hobbies in Barry who will be helping us with a complete foamie package that includes just about everything that we will be selling raffle tickets on.

Other sponsors are;
Andrew Coholic Custom Woodcraft
Bisson Mufflers
MSC Props
Canadian Tire Corp.
HighFlight RC
and more pending!

The field looks awesome with it's new 15 by 32 shelter, and we will have wheelchair accessable facilities, and of course we have on site RV space galore (no hookups sorry). and the field will be open to all starting Wed. July 27th.

With almost 28 competitors and possibly up to 32, this promises to be the best NOIC yet (ok it's only our second year but I am excited!) . It will also be a great time to practice for the Nats which follow a week later, so come one come all and have a great time in the Great (Green) North

Although the last reason to attend should be to win a prize, it is sure nice of these companies to support the event and its much appreciated.

I am looking so forward to the contest, just wish I had a few more weeks to practice, time is coming so quickly...

See you all shortly!

NOIC

I stand corrected for one of our great sponsors

It's "Coholic Custom Furniture Ltd."

Sorry Andrew

Knight's Inn

Ok, just to confirm things I went to the host hotel last night to check it out and the ten non smoking rooms that I have held are all newly renovated and look very nice at the front of the hotel. They are 69 bucks a night, and I need everyone to call in and confirm the rooms with a credit card ASAP

The five smoking rooms I have are at the back of the hotel and easily accessible via a side stairwell on the second floor. They are not newly renovated but look very clean with room fridges and two double beds that work great (kidding! If that's ok, call now and reserve the rooms please as management won't hold much longer.

For those who need ground level I will be looking at a few other hotels but they will cost more. I'll let people know that info by tomorrow.
