If you can't fix it, and the ISP won't do anything you might be able to get it working by adding an entry to the hosts file.

Re: Forbidden Site??????

Curt sent me a note also. Not sure what's going on. My guess would be the same as Martinic on post #2. When something stops working for no reason, it's usually Microsoft's fault.

Re: Forbidden Site??????

He can try by IP: http://67.19.211.141/

That'll determine if it's a DNS issue.

The 403 message is as I posted earlier and may require configuration on the server or ISP side.

Re: Forbidden Site??????

Hi guys. I'm not sure what software he is running on his pc, and there is little that I can do from here. So I am forwarding all of your responses to him. I do appreciate all of your help though, as I'm sure Curt does as well. Hopefully he will get this worked out soon as there are no doubt deals slipping through his fingers here on RCC and threads he would otherwise comment on. He is great guy and a great friend. Thanks for all of your comments, ideas and suggestions. Keep them coming!!

Re: Forbidden Site??????

So far, non of the ideas or suggestions have worked. I told him to contact his internet provider; maybe they will know what the h*ll is going on. Maybe some setting got fudged somehow. I know when I ran any Norton programs on my pc, things really slowed to a snail's pace and some programs had all sorts of problems.

Re: Forbidden Site??????

Ha Ha... nice try George, but you can't keep a good man down for long!!

I always knew that RCC was a "RACEY" site... I just didn't realise that it would be "FORBIDDEN"

Regards
Curt
