I only have one thing to add to all that excellent advice. Use a dry paint brush with soft bristles to lay the cloth on. Brushing it a little really helps it stick to the structure (static I guess)
Nice plane, Ed. Excellent paint! Is that your design? Looks a bit like a Loki.

Re: Fibreglass Covering Help

Jeez, I'm getting old. I meant to answer the resin question but forgot. LHS epoxy is epoxy glue. Laminating Epoxy resin is of a much thinner consistency and has some differing qualities. West Systems make a nice Epoxy resin as do MGS. Controlling cure time and flexibility of usage are all reasons for choosing one over the other. Both very suitable for laminating, composite work etc. Canadian Tire will sell polyester resin, which is mostly used in autobody work. Smelly, nasty health hazard stuff. I have fiberglassed a Royal Spitfire with Polyester resin but only as a last resort. Gel time is only about 15 minutes so you have to work fast. Cure time varies with temp but it seems to remain gummy for days. It is cheap though. Lee Valley carries West Systems by the quart. I'm sure a boat shop near you could steer you in the right direction as well.
Good luck and have fun!
Jeff
