Hi Kevin

I'm looking forward to seeing the article, I just told Maggie about it, she went to the basement and came back with part of my foamie.
Thanks to Ron and all the guys who helped make this indoor flying season enjoyable.

Thumbs up Re: Blue Foamie

Gaston, I appreciate the thanks, but if it wasn't for you, very little of this would have happened. You have been the driving force, and we, the willing followers. Keep it up!!! You might want to develop cleats that can be added quickly to your slippers!!!! Now that you have a bit of additional time, this could be beneficial. Even I might look at getting a pair. TTFN

Hi
No problem as long as you use Dow Protection Board III which was available at Lowe's, it is no longer listed on their website but a friend picked up a bundle for me in Michigan last week, I'll check with Lowe's and Dow Chemicals tomorrow and let you know.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi

After I typed in product no 127129 on Lowes.com website and was told that the number was invalid I started to worry because that no. was working last week and it's the number for the 1/4 in blue foam I've been using all winter for building foamies.
I phoned numerous Lowes stores, Dow Chemicals, BlueLinks and was finally told by one of the Lowes stores salesmen that even though the number is invalid at Lowes.com, it still shows at their store as a good number and they all had it in stock plus they were never told that it would become obsolete. If you type in fanfold it will now show 3/8 R-TECH fanfold, instead of 1/4 in bluelinx fanfold. I suspect that even though I was told otherwise, it might be discontinued but I hope I'm wrong.
If someone can find some straight answers, please let us know.

Thumbs up Re: Blue Foamie

Hi all
I wanted to post a pic so Gaston could see the plans he sent me went to good use.
I've built a few as can be seen. But not all cl**ks.
The part finished one is for a fellow flier. we're waiting on parts to arrive.
I've flown my cl**k inside only once most of its flying has been done outside. Been bounced lots!!!! On its 3rd nose.
I havent gotten the Cub like plane sorted out yet as far as setup goes. Waiting for the wind to go away for a bit.
The square one is a SlowFly It fies ok but not as good as the Click
The old RS Systems transmitter is now the buddy box for my Multiplex EVO.
Way retro!!!!

Thanks Gaston
Hugh

Paintball kidz

I watched one of your videos, number 18 and I'm very impressed with your flying, you seem to be very young but you're already building your own planes out of foam and your flying is excellent. If you're using bluecor, it's another name for bluelinx or fanfold made by Dow Chemicals, which we're using, where did you get it from.
thanks for the videos, when I have a chance I'll watch the other ones.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hugh

I'm glad to see that you used the plans, it didn't take long for you to build it and as I can see, you're also busy on other nice projects, thanks for keeping me updated on your progress. I also did a few nose jobs on my foamies, quick and inexpensive repairs, I really enjoyed flying mine outside lately, I'll probably keep doing that everytime there's no wind this summer.
Thanks and keep on flying.
