So what do you stock in the workshop?

I thought this would be a bit interesting.

My cleanup is well underway and I'm finding loads of things that's I've picked up over the last while. Clevises, control horns, push rods, monocote, fastlink connectors, servo grommets, every size prop know to mankind, balsawood etc etc etc. I seem to have a most impressive pegboard of stuff and almost all of the drawers are filled.

So it comes down to, what do you consider most critical to have in stock in your workshop? This is the kind of thing that if you use it, you'll pick up some more, in case you might need it again. Excluding glue, tools and props, what is the hardware / supplies that you must have?

Try and pick just one; I'll say fuel tubing.

Bob

ps reminds me I have to start preparing my balsa order for Balsa by Moss

Nuker,
Up here, I gotta stock EVERYTHING!

wheels, all hardware, covering, tubing, glue, tanks, etc etc etc

everytime I go to a real HS I stock up on all kinds of stuff.

nothing more annoying than being short two ball links or one wheel collar to finish up a project...

My building times are generally out of sync with hobby stores opening time and I hate having to make the trip, it htrows off the whole momentum for the evening. I try to stock everything I need.

If I have to pick one thing, I guess it'll be balsa (but I'd like to add glue ... they're inseparable aren't they?).

I have everything in my workshop.........oh, except for that one little part that usually holds up the works, until I can get to the hobby shop again!

One word......BALSA I always seem to have the size that I don't need.

My neighbour said the Building Box is stocking balsa cheap, any thoughts on it??

I saw that it was cheap (though not really), limited selection and HARD balsa. At least at the places around here.

I'll stick with the Moss emporium; good quality; good prices (I sound like an ad, sorry )

Jim Moss buys in quantity and passes on the savings to us mere mortals.

pushrods. Been several times I've needed a oushrod and couldn't find one so I had to go to the local hobby shop to get one. No more. I bought several pushrods a few months ago and haven't needed one since .
