So here it goes; I have some kind of a dilemma to resolve and I am looking for some opinions...

I am starting to install the engine and I am not sure if I should use the aluminum engine mount that comes with the kit or the plastic one from a different manufacturer that I have and that seem to be a perfect fit for the ASP 61fs???

So basically: Aluminum or Plastic? Pros and Cons...
More important is to use one that fits properly. If to much force is used mounting an engine in a motor mount with a poor fit you can distort or stress the crankcase and cause engine damage. The crankcases are light weight thin castings that can be easily distorted and/or broken if not careful.

So basically: Sideway or inverted?

What do you think?

When in doubt follow the recommendations of the kit manufacturers as the fuel tank location may be fixed and not easily adjusted for different engine positions. Center line of tank as close to the centerline of the spray bar in the carb works best.
