Does anyone have an Eagle .60 or parts? I'm talking about the first version with the slant plug.

Re: Fox Eagle .60

I have a NIB one in the mail and should have it soon. Is there something you need to know?

No Bill, I have the example shown. It has 1/2 gal through it. I am trying to get one of the later grey ones. Duke retooled the dies for the later one and it has a slightly bigger crank with the lower rod end bushed.

Re: Fox Eagle .60

I'm gonna try "Uncle Bob" in the States. That's where I got this NIB one for $60.

Re: Fox Eagle .60

Got mine for 65.00 Very underpriced in my opinion for a great vintage engine.

Re: Fox Eagle .60

I have a half dozen or so Fox engines, the newest the Eagle IV. IMO, even though their looks are a bit unsophisticated, they are some of the most powerful for their size out there. That and the fully hardened sleeves make them strong and long lived. In fact, right now I am trying to resurrect a 50BB that had some rough treatment before I got it.

I don't normally push another forum here, but have you checked out Club Fox? There is a wealth of experience to be had.

Re: Fox Eagle .60

I have one with a slanted plug. It is an older one, loop scavenge model. The plug is closer to the exhaust port and slanted about 20 deg.. It is a bit gummy and hard to turn over but it looks good. $75.00 shipped.
