If you are thinking of getting one get its a good deal. I've heard there as good as the HPI 4.6 and there at least 50 bucks less. I have the Axial .32 in mine and its fast as hell the only problem I've had so far is I smoked a new slipper after only 4 tanks. I guess i should tighten the slipper a little more then the factory setting.

The only upgrade I've done to my drive train is the 4 bevel gear diffs as mine only came with the 2 gear diffs. I'm not going to tighten the slipper all the way as that could cause damage to the drivetrain.

oh as for the slipper clutch I'm just using the stock spur gear. I just put in a new one hop it hold up. I have been wondering about the slipper in the savage x as it has two slipper pads in stead of one in the original savage.

I Have the axial 28 in my savage and it rocks. Dan is right with the savings $50 or more and the hp is awesome. I went against a guy today with the hpi 4.6 and my was ahead. This motor is sweet and zoom room in newmarket has them.
