It's easy to install the servos after it's assembled, I did both of my builds that way.

Shawn/Nathan.

Some nagging questions if you can spare a moment...

What exactly is the tape you guys are using to reinforce the canopy?

I found some M3 nylon hardware at Esprit. Does anyone in Canada have this?

I used a couple strips of fiberglass mat and polyester resin.

I don't know about the nylon hardware, I usually crash hard enough the type of hardware doesn't matter .

Nathan is funny even when he does not mean to be.

On a side note all I can add for you there is I would not go with a hardened bolt kit anywhow. The quality of the bolts with kit are top notch, and I can assure you a hardened Jesus bolt is a bad idea, ask me how I know....

As well I do agree with everything else Nathan has mentioned in regards to the BEC etc. If you are not in a panic hold on and there may be a publicly released 10A version from WR in the next few months, they are working on it I do know that much.

I as well have not used the Nylon screws/bolts, I do think they'd be a handy thing to have however. Did you buy a bulkload or a kit kinda...?

Thanks, guys.

I haven't bought any nylon hardware yet, I just found a place that had the right size. When I think back on how the L20 went in, nylon bolts wouldn't have helped. The landing gear was one of the few things that didn't hit the ground hard. In fact, I put the L20 landing gear on the 600 - it is identical. Ya, I know. It isn't pristine and shiny like the new one, but I've already got nice, shiny, new spare landing gear.

I put the frame together yesterday. I wasn't going to but I couldn't stop! Oops. The darn thing is almost finished. Anywho, I think Nathan said the hardware is sized correctly and I agree - no heavy hardware where light will do. It is also nice to get away from a lot of threading into plastic as in the older Logos.

BTW. You may have noticed the use of a backing nut on the tail pitch lever hardware. This makes it rigid, easier to adjust clearance and, I think, more secure in use.

No real urgency on the BEC - or on the blades, batteries and controller for that matter. I'm waiting for the motor and good weather. Hopefully by then there will be more 620mm blades to choose from, there will be a 80-90A Kontronik controller and a 10A BEC for 12s+.

I think some of you guys are using JR DS8717 servos. How well do the mounting holes line up? I just threw in my old Futaba servos and the holes were too far apart.

Thanks.
