No! We have enough "sheep" already! It's a treat to see people thinking outside of the "well that's what everybody else is doing" box!

As for diesel conversion heads - have tried a couple - can't seem to get them to run. I intend to have another go at it time permitting.

I was drooling over the Saito 4 stroke gas engines at Great Hobbies the other day! Anyone tried one?

The Enya 4 stroke diesel also interests me! Don't know of any hobby store that carries Enya in Canada. Likely not enough profit margin, sure isn't a quality issue!

Re: ethanol

I tried a Davis Diesel head on a Royal .40 many yrs ago and wasn't happy with the black residue oil all over the plane so I switched back to the glow head. Didn't seem to run right. Couldn't get a good needle setting on it when I noticed bubbles coming out of the bottom of the crankcase. Took a closer look and the case was split from front to back. Bummer. So much for that good motor. If your going to try diesel get a diesel motor. The cranks, rods and pistons are made for the heavier load.

Ya! Tried that too! Interested in a almost new Webra diesel with a bent rod & broken crank pin? I'll sell it cheap! Has never run more than 3 sec at a time or over 1000 rpm!
