Do anyone have a fuse or turn key jet minus the turbine they would like to sell, it would be for an AMT mercury 17-18 lbs thrust.......

Re: Gotta and wanna sell a jet ?????

I might - the turbine in my Boomerang Sprint packed it in (broke the main shaft on takeoff roll!)

Once I find out if they are going to honor my warrantee I will know... if they do I'm keeping it. If they don't I will likely sell RTF minus turbine.

I'll keep you posted...

Re: Gotta and wanna sell a jet ?????

Wellllllll I said, hey watch this and it all went to $#!t from there. No actually I had just got everything tailed away with the jet and it was flying hands off I did my down wind with about 20% flaps as I had done before and when I dropped my gear it just wanted to fly to the ground so I put them back up and it seemed like I had no power................ and the rest is history it ended up about 4000 - 5000 ft away from me in a pit!!!

Re: Gotta and wanna sell a jet ?????

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. It looks like you may have two good options as posted above.

I have a Jet Legands F-15 kit. I think you will find out that they fly like a trainer and make flying a jet more relaxing.

Re: Gotta and wanna sell a jet ?????

That Formost would be a good airplane, the one that Glenr has actually LOOKS really cool too, he did some nice mod's to it.
I would definitely strongly consider the Flash though, I know it's more money than you want to spend, but ya know what, it's a short flying season, and the flash is an awesome airplane, it's a long winter, you can resave for your supercharger over the winter

Re: Gotta and wanna sell a jet ?????

You can't go wrong with Comp-Arf really. I have had many and I just got the 1/5 Hawk (amazing sport-scale jet!)

Jeremy is right about the Flash and the short flying season. You always want one jet you can fly just about anywhere thats rugged, no gear doors or other complications, built like a tank and flies well... the Flash fits that bill. If/when I wear out my Boomer I'll be replacing it with a Flash.
