Anyone out there in the west

Just want to get some conversations going among us out here in the west. I am in central Alberta. Anyone else into nitro R/C Cars and Trucks. We have a great race track here in Stettler, Alberta for Nitro/electric Trucks, Buggies and Truggies. I have built a great CEN Matrix Arena Truggy and a Matrix C-1 Buggy. I went crazy with the SH power mills and now can't find any competition. It's all about fun, but a bit of competition would be great.
The spring is getting near and we are getting the track ready. We invite anyone to come check it out.
Take a look at the Stettler R/C Basher's Club track.

Re: Anyone out there in the west

Hello....I am in Edmonton.

New to RC short course trucks...Have a SC-10, I am in the process of modifying: Brushless set-up etc.

I have been out of the hobby since the 1991. I used to race a modified Tamyia Hot Shot! The track we raced at use to be in St.Albert back then.

Hey!

Do you have run to Calgary or Red Deer to get your RC products or is there a GOOD Hobby shop in Bowden?? Just Curious. I like checking out Hobby Shops and do the drive to Cal frequently.

Re: Anyone out there in the west

HOBBY EXTREME is a great store. I always went there for my R/C stuff. I started my own hobby shop in Stettler, but I still often get some stuff from Hobby Extreme.

Re: Anyone out there in the west

I don't own the track, but I have put a lot of time and money into it. Without a track, my hobby shop would have no purpose.
There is also a track in Red Deer, have you been to that one?

Re: Anyone out there in the west

The Red Deer Track is operated by Darcy at HO Performance in Red Deer.
You can see the Stettler Track at http://www.terranovahobby.ca/Stettle...hers-Club.page
The savage sometimes does OK on the track but doesn't have a chance of catching the Buggy or Truggy.
