Re: Max’s FPV streak: Winter 2014/15
47 Consecutive Days of FPV!!!
3 days in a row of great FPV weather. How can I be so lucky??? Jan 27, 2015: This morning when I woke up it was blowing flurries. Oh, this did not look good. But by the time work ended today, it was nice blue skies. The winds were mild again, and I enjoyed another great evening of FPV. I'm really loving this Seawolf camera. I flew right into dusk tonight. Second flight I could see the picture was getting darker, a lot darker than I am used to compared to the K171Pro. But I'm not complaining. I think I will leave the seawolf on this plane for a while longer Flight times: 1: 27.6 minutes: LT40 2: 30.1 minutes: LT40 Total air time today: 57.7 MINUTES Total Time in the Air since this streak began: 37 Hours, 58 Minutes Total Number of Flights since this streak began: 115

Re: Max’s FPV streak: Winter 2014/15
48 Consecutive Days of FPV!!!
Early morning flights to squeeze in day 48. Jan 28, 2015: What a gorgeous sunrise this morning. We were out there first thing before work to squeeze in a couple of flights. I flew the Quad because I just did not have the time for anything else. The weather was perfect for a morning flight. The lighting and colours were breathtaking. Its been a fun streak this year. Like my streak 2 years ago, I had to fly in some crazy weather to keep the streak going. I have also had to juggle work and personal demands in order to get the time to fly. My work gets me away from home, but between Christmas and early in the new year things can get quiet if I can manage my schedules, which is what allows me to get a decent FPV streak. But the quiet periods never last long. Other commitments now take precedence. Some things cannot be avoided. Today is my last day. I'm proud of having hit 48 days on this streak. That is 11 more days than I did 2 years ago. At least now I have something to aim for on the next one Flight times: 1: 7 minutes: Quad 2: 7-1/2 minutes: Quad 3: 7-1/2 minutes: Quad Total air time today: 22 MINUTES Total Time in the Air since this streak began: 38 Hours, 20 Minutes Total Number of Flights since this streak began: 118 Total distance traveled:(Closed circuit) 1227 km

Re: Max’s FPV streak: Winter 2014/15
CONGRATULATION Max !!!!! , that was fantastic streak, myself any many others were envy you for all this flight time. I don't think many of us fly FPV or line of sight longer in lifetime than you did in 48 days! I don't think I did since I started my RC fun 4 years ago and started with FPV from the very beginning.
See you in summer. Jacek |

Re: Max’s FPV streak: Winter 2014/15
nice to see you trying the Seawolf Max. It is supposed to be the best for bright sunny days with a lot of deep rich colour.
I have a couple of them, but only used one a couple times. Big and heavy, and not sure Ilike the Kaleidascope effect it has with the prop and sun reflections. I also like cameras that are good in dark, usually use the SuperHAD600 type. It is like dusk here all day in winter, due to mountains and being a bit further North than Southern Ontario. |
