White Styrofoam and latex paint

I painted my Typhoon in latex paint at the beginning of April. I had been away for about a month and the Typhoon sat in a cradle I had made out of white styrofoam. Last night when I went to do some work on it. The plane was stuck to the cradle!!

I'm not sure why but the styrofoam seems to dissolve onto the latex paint. I'm not sure if it will do this with the pink or blue foam. But a word of warning for anyone who's planning on painting with latex and uses white styrofoam as a cradle.

Now I have to figure out what will take the styrofoam off without damaging the paint.

What a shame...........

Latex does take a lot of time to fully dry and cure.

About a month.

Years ago I painted a room at my parent's house, my mom put vinyl suitcases in the closet a couple of days later... the paint was securely attatched to their suitcases.
