Re: Hpi Sprint 2 Receiver(Range??) issues?

I knew that has to be with the antenna or something

You know i was installing velcro underneath my 4pl receiver once and i didn't pay attention cause my other receivers has no wires they are wireless 2.4's and i chopped the top part of it

So i got a brand new replacement problem solved

or you could always just buy a 2.4ghz antenna normally they are pretty standard

Re: Hpi Sprint 2 Receiver(Range??) issues?

I have a couple of the rf-40 because they came with rtr kits and i have wreaked the antenna on 2. I opened one up but the antenna is soldered to the board rather than using a connector...
honestly i would say a replacement radio is the best option and if you switch to the rf-20 and you have the same problem you could simply change the antenna with hpi # 104085

Yeah, I'll probably pick up an rf-20 if I can find a pretty cheap one.
I primarily drift, so range reaaaaaaaaally isn't an issue, but it'd be nice to be able to throw on some rubbers and go, ya know?
