do you have an Atom 500 ?
Anybody have an Atom 500 ?
Pros and cons if any. New Compass dealer in Canada, in the near future. Might want to look it up.

I just got my 6HV and started building. Looks amazing. Great quality. I plan to get an Atom 500 later as well instead of my exi 500 and align 450 sport. Try http://www.nankinhobby.com/ great guys to deal with. No canadian distributors yet.

I saw FinlessBob's vid on the build for the Atom and his maiden flight.
I'm now looking for one (used) on the for sale forum of HF. Got one in sight, waiting for an answer. If this deal doesn't fall through, I'll get a new one, this shop will open soon. http://www.rchelicanada.com/ from Winnipeg

also www.rc711.com have some xmas specials right now but they ship from HK. You will most definitely get better service from nankin though.
And there's not much support here. Better off asking questions on HF. |

Ya, but stuff from HK takes a long time to arrive,
lots of times we get custom fees with the shipping fees. And for customer support, well..... I thought about buying Asian, then this new canadian site came along. Talk to the propriater a couple of times, nice cat, cool guy, he knows what is selling rest assured. Otherwise he woudn't have my vote.

No guys, I have to admit, its not my site, wish it was though.
Compass is an up and comming heli brand and it was not represented here in Canada. If you get to read the posts on HF, problems are minimal and the support is there (trully). As of yet I didn't read that any owner was not satified with either the 6HV or the Atomm. With all the progress that technologie made around helis in general, I'm sure that Compass has its place here in Canada. I just believe in the product, I've done my homework and research the product. I don't have much experience but I know good workmenship when I see it. I have 6 or 700 bucks to spend on a heli and accessories, be assured that I'm gonna look around and ask questions. And dude, the money stays here, the entrepreneur is canadian, those are 2 good reason to by Compass in Canada, for me anyway. And to be clear on one thing, gentlemen, no one has or will pay me for my words. Looking forward that support for this brand will come to be, here too I'll be getting mine soon, will let you know.
