Gentlemen ;
Has anyone got a modeling tip for building Quick attach and release mechanism for flying struts.
To spend 30 minutes each time you go to the field just setting up flying struts is ridiculous.
Any ideas guys.

The neatest one I've seen involved two piece nylon hinges (you could also use metal ones I would guess.) One half attached to the fuse the other half attached to the end of the strut. Same thing on the other end (one half screwed into the bottom of the wing the other to the end of the strut). Then you slide the hinge halves together and insert the pins. You can leave the struts attached to the wing because they are hinged and the whole thing will fold flat.

unfortunately I came across this idea about a week after I finished setting up the struts on my Citabria. I can tell you this. Don't use clevises on the strut ends. By the time you get 'em on and the bleeding stops it's too dark to fly.

Is it the great planes cub?

The bolt and tab method works well and is reasonably quick. Not perfectly scale if you are really really fussy about that sort of thing.

I agree with the clevis comments . I have used ball links on smaller cubs - just snap them on and off. The links will wear out eventually, but they are easy and cheap to replace.
