My new baby has arrived!!! - Going to go into my 58% Modellbau Pitts!!

I'll first do a little testing on the stand!

Per the attached video, the recommended prop is a Fiala 36x14. Due to stock issues, I've gone with the two alternative prop sizes - a JC 36x12 and JC 34x16

My chrome exhaust was ordered last week from toni-clark.com - it's the exact same one as what's shown in the video!!!!

I got the mighty 4-stroke running on the test stand today!!!!

Just prior to the video, I primed it and had it running for about 10 seconds... 3 flips with choke on until it kicked + 3 flips without choke and it was running .. just like a DA!!

I ended up flipping it a fair bit at the start of the video... it was just the idle being too low from when I killed the engine to start the video

Anyways - it's a monster!! Insane torque and acceleration of that massive prop!! - if you look close you can even see it twisting the stand - likely because of those large standoffs, LOL!!! Even the poor camera shakes on the tripod due to all the air that they 36x12 pushes!!!

It was pretty rich - by run #3 of the video, I had it running really nice and smooth!! - 750rpm idle with a top rpm between 4200 - 4400rpm

Can't wait to start mounting it in the Pitts

WOW!!!

That thing is tremendous. The sound is really getting close to that of a full size plane.

I'm with you. I could sit and listen to it idle all day long.

Once you leaned it, it really started moving some serious air!!

I can't wait!!!

The idle is so addicting to listen to!!! I just went out and fired it back up again!!! WOW!!!!!!!

And the thing hardly uses any fuel
