On the 120 and 100 I have the re2s. They sound perfect.
I had es on the 100. Sounded great as well (just like yours in the 120)
But that plane bender smooth pipe on my 60 is nasty loud. Reminds me of the old days tuned pipe. Maybe I have baffle issue but they are in mint shape no rattles. I figured it was the nature of the beast.

Hanes i thought you were pulling a Dale at the beginning. Sitting on a stool.

Question: If we all start using stools and Dale set a trend is that Hype??

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

That would be the " greying of our hobby".

I just re-watched that ..... I hate maidens. Sooooo boring lol

Edit.
Thanks for the compliments. The combo is perfect, its a big bird for 100cc class so it takes to the shake of the da well. I think the 3w110 would be amazing on the front of this.
I only have 6 flights on it now. Damaged the tail wheel. Other than that the Ef planes are nice I am happy so far. this one has been discontinued (as many of you know) a while back. This was In a box in a closet for a while now (been ready for a maiden since last season). The design and build Does need some modernizing. But I hope they stay to the larger size
This 100cc class is something else when it comes to power though, just awesome . Even a weezy 100 would make this thing scoot

BTW, how long do you think it would take for the bond on aluminum pipes to break down from heat and oil. Maybe 1000 flying years of heat cycles with no wack-a-doos in the equation.
What is this Whack-A-Doo you speck of? Possibly you could show me this week-end.

(joke)

I have performed a few Whack-A-Does over the years. (oh my)

Sure pumped about flying the big ones this week-end. Lots of stills for the Mafia.

Trevor/Lorne, perhaps I missed it (biking in the AB.BC mountains since Friday) but did I miss the weight of the no names.

Really curious as to why called the " no name brand"!!
