Mcpx in the gym
Here is a video of my MCPX in the gym. This is the 4th flight with the brushless convertion on the main motor. As you can see I was getting way to comfy with it. The only damage was the tial motor came off the tail boom and One link is some where on the floor.

Re: Mcpx in the gym
So that's just a main motor conversion with the stock batteries? Or did you extend the boom as well (I'm assuming you did, because the boom wasn't shattered when you hit it like that...).

Re: Mcpx in the gym
Good to hear. That's the combo I'm planning on going for but was a little worried about tail authority with the stronger main motor. Yours looks like it was holding great. C05M motor, right?

Re: Mcpx in the gym
Nope It is a motor from WOW hobbies I think. I bought it from a guy here on rcc . Here are the specs on the brushless kit I bought.
11000kv WK-WS-12-003 in-runner burshless motor (1.5mm shaft) 3.7v-6v 10A Brushless ESC (WK-WST-10A-L) 1 x 12T Pinion (for 4#3 conversion) 2 x 9T Pinion (for MCPX conversion) The motor is a little heavier then the stock one where as the co5m is lighter. at the time I bought the kit I couldnt find the co5m motor. Even with the weight diffrance which is one 2 gram it flies great.
