I tried thier 800 number all day and got the recording of business hours,tried tech number and no answer.Is something going on i,m missing?

The sign on the door read closed Friday August 20 to allow the employes & their families to enjoy the Cup & Saucer parade. A large local event

The Gold Cup and Saucer parade is part of a week long event> it is one of the oldest harness races in Canada. Companies in Carolettetown have been using the Friday of this week as a local holiday for years. Great Hobbies is just across the bridge from where this takes place. I would think that they should have been open today though.

I actually was in the parking lot shortly after DJL arrived. I was very upset that they didn't advertise that they were going to be closed that day. I made a 3 hour detour just to go to GH to make some purchases only to find them closed. I think they should let people know when the local holidays are so somebody travelling to the shop does not waste time and money.

I just received the August Great Hobbies flyer and it doesn't list the

" Glass & Plate Holiday "

on the back page under Shop Hours.

I also checked the last one for May 1st to July 31st 2004 ; and it is the same.

It must have been a short notice Holiday.
