Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West
I really need to have a talk with Michael or buy him a shiny. Maybe leave him alone and let him develop into the DA man. He is smart and will figure it out. Everyone gets a chance to grow in this hobby. Some slower than others. Some never get it.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West
Just caught up!!
Brent - glad to hear that DA50 has made it to Mississauga. I hope it's in a shiny truck on the way back to Arizona I've never seen such exceptional service in my life - and you only had to pay another $30.00 I may up my prediction from 3 weeks to 4 weeks, LOL. If you need a spare motor to hold you over, let me know - I can have it to you before the DA even makes it back to Arizona. However, once you run the motor I send you (a real man's motor) and see flip'n'fly performance, you'll tell DA to keep the 50 |

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West
Well my "Not so Precious" spent 24 hours and seven minutes in Mississauga. She has now left the country. Guess I should have sent it South with my Brother-in-Law, he left yesterday at 2:30. Young bugger would have been sitting at Desert Aircraft this morning before they were open!
The Brother-in-Law seemed really interested in our hobby. Been looking for something to play with for quite a while. I promoted the hobby without shame! Might be a perfect chance to have a body in the heart of the RC game...... and lives in the land of the disposable plane being a 40%er!!!! I'm all fixed up with power to fly every plane except one. It needs a small "brick" on it's nose. Old old kit built Morrisey Bravo who happens to be kinda heavy in the tail! |

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West
LOL!! A small brick.
Scott's Brick58 is so nice running!!! Even a pair of Shiny-50's mounted inline wouldn't match the performance of the Brick58!!! |
