I placed the order with Graphtech on about May 9th.... today is June 5th... I'm still waiting for it to arrive.

Hopefully it will get here sometime this flying season!

I've had a couple of emails back and forth.... the gear did have to be made up, but he told me two weeks ago (May 22) that it was being shipped out by air.... must be a slow plane. Here's a copy of my last email that has gone unanswered so far...

It has been one month since I originally placed this order and one and a half weeks since your last email telling me it was being shipped out mid week by air. Still no gear. I've built another airplane in the time I've spent waiting for this. Can I expect it any time in the near future or should I make plans to get it elsewhere? Sorry if I sound a little cranky but I'd really rather be flying this Extra 300 not looking at it on my building table. I'll be flying my new Cub on Sunday while my Extra sits without any gear.

Anxiously waiting..........

I just phone Mike up ..he gong to email me back, he has like 400 orders so has to go look at his files to answer whats up

Thanks Randy,

not sure if it was your phone call to him or my pestering him, but I did get a reply tonight saying that it is now being shipped airmail which Mike tells me will take 4 - 10 days. Seems a long time for airmail, but at least it's on it's way. I'll try to have some patience until it gets here.... I'll be sure to post when it arrives.

Happy to report that the gear finally arrived... and it looks fantastic. Looks like we might actually get this plane back in the air this weekend!
