All I know is I never flew a plane till the end of summer, granted it was only a trainer but all I can say was I was amazed at how easy a plane was to fly, trainer or not I never had my hands on one before and it was rediculous how easy it was to do compared to a heli. I absolutely love the helis, they are a huge challenge to setup, to fly and to master!!!!

I see allot of plankers gettin all freaked out by helis, I love that.

heli's

i fly both. planes and electric/and soon nitro heli's. yes planes are easier but heli's are alot more versatile on where they can go , it is tough learning helis and as of yet i still dont have my wings for aircraft ...hard to get to the feild most days. so i got into helis. i have 2 electric helis. one is mini dragonfly and the other is a hummingbird. i flew the humming bird allready. the dragonfly is next on my list. harder then all get out to learn on electric then nitro as nitro is more stable... anyways i am on the map.i am now outta heli's ....sticking to what i know best. planes and boats.......

I've been involved with flying for about 8 or 9 years now... Just with flight simulator....

Helicopters have always caught my eye more than planes though... But about a year ago, I baught my first RC airplane, a 40 sized trainer. I always stayed away from the helis, just because of the price. I kept with the planes, and became a fairley accomplished pilot within one year. However, 4 months ago or so I found a raptor 30 for a decent price, and baught it.

I'm not at the point where I will NEVER buy a new plane again. Totally helicopters for me from now on. I'm going to build a 50 this winter, but I am seriously considering getting a 90 instead.

I find helicopters so much more complex, and more dificult to fly. They just sute me much better than a plane ever would.

If I had to choose between flying a 50% decked out extra or something like that, or a raptor 30, I would choose the raptor.

Anyways, theres my two cents,
