Hey Guys,

I just graduated from the University of Waterloo and I will be starting a full time job in Etobicoke the end of the summer. My work is the offices at Centennial Park on Eglington (right across the highway from Pearson International pretty much). I had a possible place to live in Milton with friends but decided it would be too long of a commute and I would much rather live as close to work as I can (and avoid the highways as much as possible).

So I decided I better start looking around and thought I'd ask here. I'm looking for a place to rent for at least until next summer. Something with enough room for my planes and me =P. And I'll need parking. If anyone knows of anything available or has anything for rent; like a bachelor suite, basement apartment, etc...let me know.

Where to find a flying club near you?

When I lived out that way, I lived at the Willowridge Towers complex (not really recommended due to one of the buildings being public housing and things were not quite as rough as Jane/Finch is reputed to be). Lots of other buildings at the corner of Eglinton and Martingrove.

Clubs in the area -- the closest is the Balsa Beavers who have a field at Centennial Park -- control line only, sorry.

Nearest RC clubs are Brampton, Mississauga, and Humber Valley.

Humber Valley holds their meetings at the Toronto Aersospace Museum in Downview (lots of great scale documentation kicking around to look at after the meeting.)
