traxx engine cuts out?????

i have a traxx nitro hawk 12 nitro motor on it
it starts fine and runs ok till i open up the throttle then it just cuts out can someone tell me why???????

adjusting needles

sounds like your high speed needle is not set right or it needs a new glow plug or air leaks or the pinch is gone it could be anything take one thing at a time and never tune a low tank of fuel. a good forum for help is www.offroadrc.ca

Had same problem with my rustler found out it was high speed needle it was set too lean richen hell out of it and retune it from there. That’s what I had to do to mine and retune the low speed if necessary

also found out the Duratrax fuel filter I had was no good. It restricts gas flow too much this also caused the motor to cut out. When it comes to fuel filters found out bigger is better hope this helps.
