Anyone transporting their gassers with a car?

next year i might be getting a car and I wanted a truck but a truck is alot of money so I was wondering if anyone was using a car to transport 30%+ size planes without taking off lg or anything like that just wings off if you are then what car.

Talk to Ron M about how he transported this laser in his small chevy car, a Saturn I believe!

He did have to take the landing gear off and I believe he also took the turtle deck off. Anyway, Ron will give you all that info!

Yep, not a big deal, a little extra setup time.
If you get a "hatchback" or a "wagon" type car, you won't have that problem.

yep i remmeber he took the trutle deck off and the landing gear but i'm hopinh to avoid all that

Get a cheap used Magic Wagon ( Caravan) ( or the like)

You won't pick up too many chicks with it,

but you will take your planes with you to the flying club!!
