Trex 700 flight movie

After seeing a few folks making Heli movies I decided to try my hand at it as well so I made this a couple of weeks ago.

I attached a gopro cam to my heli using an attachement made from a 3d printer to fit to the skids of my T-rex 700, did a small test flight and seemed ok, so then I took off and did this. No major 3d flying, as I can't do that...yet, but it was neat flying around my house and seeing everything around from the air!

It's a bit cheesy but it was fun to make, and I do hope to make some more flights with the camera in the near future.

Here is the link:

Cheers,

Re: Trex 700 flight movie

Nice. But at 6-1/2 minutes of just tooling around, its a bit long.

Get yourself some video editing software, and pare down your full-length video to about 2 or 3 minutes of the best scenes. This is a more enjoyable options for most viewers who dont really want to sit through lots of (what they see as) boring video.

I always pick a short song, then edit my videos to the length of the song. This forces me to only pick the best scenes.

Right now I am in the process of editing my last FPV trip I took in august. 6 gopro videos, each one 20 minutes long. You want to watch 2 hours of raw video?? LOL No way!

Here is an example of one of my previous video. Same thing- 8 Gopro videos of about 2 hours of flying pared down and combined into a 3 minute song;

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.
