Activating Covering Glue
I realize there is a product called tirm cement but I also seem to remember that all this is is a chemical like acetone or alcohol ,etc. that will acivate the glue on covering without using heat. What I am trying to do is attach two colours of covering before using on the plane.

Why not simply iron them together on glass. That's how I do it, and it works well. Below is my ultimate that I recovered, note the blue grey colors done using this method.

covering?
When using monokote,the trim layer can be applied with windex.All you do is wet the covering with windex,add the trim piece and let it sit over night.
