I'm sure that's exactly what would cross her mind!!! But after how I tried to stir it up with Ashley over at Brad's house last time, I'm likely not welcomed there also, LOL

LMAO!!!!! In her defense, it was only 8am on a Saturday and I'm already over and drooling over your airplane build... might have been different if I had showed up with a Tim Horton's treat for her ... Next time!!!!

She really needs to understand my point of view though ... I'm the victim here!!!

Re: BBT 2.6m CompArf Yak55 / Back to a MOKI 150 Now Build Thread

I did a CG check and even with the batteries beside the motor, the CG will come in right on the back-side of the CG range... likely perfect for 3D!!!!

Here are a few shots - the plywood trays are epoxied to the oak standoff with (4) screws / each to ensure they're never coming off!!!

Batteries are (2) LiFe 3200mAh for Rx + (1) LiIon 4200mAH for ignition... hopefully the CG will have to go back a little more and hopefully I can remove the LiIon 4200 from the front!!

I've got about 3 more nights of work left and it'll be ready for a ReMaiden

you should be fine movimg the batteries inside Trev, i had the old zdz 80 in mine on a can and it balanced with the batteries inside the fuse no problem, cant wait to see how that plane flys with with the 90 on a pipe, should be sweet, any idea of a weight yet?

Hey Bill.. I'll weigh it in the next few days, but I'm guessing around high 26lbs!! Should be ballistic.

The other thing... contrary to my original beliefs, the CompARFs do an exceptional job at damping vibrations, so with this 90 already being so smooth, I'm thinking it'll be a dream of a combo!!!

I'm also hoping I can remove that LiIon on the front and tap my ignition off of one of the 3200mAh LiFe's!!

Cheers

Trev
