Dave,

It seems to like walls too much.

I am used to a Hard Deck from flying outdoors but still getting used to having an HARD Aerobatic Box with a HARD Ceiling to boot.

I did manage to do a loop around one of the raised basketball nets, well I kinda glanced off the backboard a bit.

I have used two bottles of Foam Safe CA and about 10 sticks of hot glue repairing it and I fear the weight is now around that of a 40% Carden 260.

It is also down to only one gear leg. I did manage to casue some carnage with it when I mid-aired.. well really a mid-ground as the other Extra 260 was on the gym floor when I hit him. Hmmm GWS props do a pretty good job on 2mm depron... I ate his whole fin and rudder before I could throttle back... Sorry again if you are reading this.

I find the EFlight 260 to be a little frail with all that CF truss bracing. I see other designs that are depron only but with some imbeded CF sticks but no tube bracing.

I may need to look at the motor as well as Trevor remarked at how scale the sound of the electric DA 50 motor was on my last run.
Jim... don't ever get rid of that electric motor.... it's like a DA50 with a rod that's ready to let go!!

Next time we meet, you can get a tracing of my plans for the RCGroups Foamy... thanks to Steve for showing me this plane... it is awesome!!

Cheers

Trev

Hi Jim,
Goto this link and download any plans you like, all of these indoor F3P planes fly alot slower than the 3d type planes, the F3P styles are designed for slower and precision flying. There are lots of free plans in this thread.
