For those that don't use return lines on fueling system make sure you have a spring loaded off switch to the fuel pump. That way when you leave your fuelling station unattended no overflow to the ground. Gotta be there to watch it.

ok.. First, you should never leave the model unattended whilst fuelling, no matter what system you are using. Spills on the tarmac are not appreciated by the Clubs or the Aerodrome

Re: One tip per day

That was a tip ; as never said I have done; it but seen it done. Fuel is too precious and would sooner burn it and just to clarify that , not with a match but to go Zoom-Zoom with my Sprint. LOL......and a Happy New Year to you !

Re: One tip per day

New-Bi's ask questions as they go!

Got some help from Dave Patrick showed me the basic plumbing for fuel system
Now I got to make it work and fit in my Sebart Advanti Mini

Fuel tank from Sebart company - cheap garbage - so many reports of it cracking - I then ordered the Habu 32 P-20 conversion kit from Tamjets

Tank is 21 oz with vent on top and fuel pick up out the rear end of the tank

The tank will not sit correctly into the mini without greatly deforming the intakes ducts

#1 So my solution is raise the tank 1-inch on a home made platform - works well! also can get the canopy hatch on - Platform made from scrap 1/8" Plywood sheet

#2 make a 45 degree UAT holder make again from scrap 1/16" Plywood sheet

#3 Plumbing - (A) Yellow Vent line can probably go out bottom of fuse some place so it can be attached to Hopper tank when needed ( not done yet) any advise on ideal location
wanted.

#3 Plumbing - (B) Yellow Fuel line goes from fuel pick up to UAT
#3 Plumbing - (C) Yellow Fuel line goes from UAT out for fuel filling

#4 Plumbing - (D) Require reducer connector to go into place between the UAT and Fuel pump (Need to order part from Peter

So Newbi says I think Iam making progress and I hope this arrangement works
Cheers

Have Happy New Years

I've never done that.....

Note to self:- buy t-shirt that says - Please do not talk to me while I am fueling my jet.
