Once in a while I would like to copy some of the pictures and videos to my computer. Not just the address but an actual copy on my computer. How do I do that? I have a Mac computer.

Re: Copy from U-Tube etc.

What he is trying to do is extract the video from a Youtube video...you can't do it by right clicking "save target as" on any computer...whether it is a PC or MAC. What you need to do is download a program that will extract the video and audio and turn it into a usable file on your computer. I use this program:

http://download.cnet.com/TubeTillaFr...-10822176.html

It is called Tubezilla and it works great for turning Youtube videos into mp4 video files that you can put on your computer.

Re: Copy from U-Tube etc.

Another great way to capture files is http://keepvid.com/

This site does not require installing any software.. It is done online. Just watch where you click as is it sponsored and so the larger areas to click do take you to sites to buy stuff.

That said it is a legit site and does a great job for free.

Re: Copy from U-Tube etc.

Sorry, I am MAC ignorant.

But for PC, I simply pull a copy of the desired flash video (FLV) from the temporary internet folder. It appears in the temp folder after the youtube video has played in its entirety.

Of course, you will need a flash video player to watch it with. Wimpy FLV is free and works well.
