Re: 35% Exclusiv Modellbau Challenger III - BBT

Covering is now 3.5% completed, LOL!!

Made lots of progress over the course of Saturday .... lower swoops are in place and the Dubro control horns are epoxied in the tapped holes

Not nearly as fancy and light as our Mental Machinist's Custom CF horns, but it'll have to do, LOL!! The pictures don't show it well, but the pivot is directly above the hingeline.

.
Time to get back into the fuse construction

Center Cabane !!!!

The kit comes with (2) flat pieces of aluminum for the center cabane with some awesome guidance on how to bend them...

Re: 35% Exclusiv Modellbau Challenger III - BBT

Here's a few shots of the finished center cabane

The instructions lay out in detail how to bend these so that all the geometry works out perfectly. Best of all, after bending them, the incidence on the top is set
.
.
.
This honestly took 15min to bend up. If I compare to the royal PITA that I went through with my 58% EMHW Pitts, this is a huge upgrade
