I just wanted to first of all thank everyone in the Helicopter hobby and on other threads that I have been very fortunate and honored to chat, buy/sell and meet over the years!

I have learned so much and this is such a great forum here on RCC .. A big thanks to everyone... words can not truly describe how much over the years I have truly grown in this hobby; much to the great advise and input in this forum.

I am leaving a very exciting heli-hobby for simple reasons, vision. Its depth perception and it can get a bit questionable when the heli is in a certain orientation and well, you know... Its with a heavy heart that I leave this hobby, but I will when I can come out to events to support !

I am moving over to RC buggy 1/10th scale racing and I am very excited about this. Yes, on the ground ( well most of the time..LOL ) and easier to see...LOL You will possibly see me more active in the RC Land / Cars/Buggy forums than heli in the near future ...

I love the RC hobby as a whole and appreciate all aspects of it.. I appreciate the RCC forums and encourage everyone to continue to support this and continue to enrich it with great threads with great input!

Hi Rich...I certainly do understand your plight. I lost the vision in one eye 25 years ago and took up RC planes a year and a half ago. Depth perception by far has been my biggest challenge. In day-to-day life, I've been able to adjust. But operating in three dimensions is a completely different animal. So congratulations for staying in the hobby! and who knows?, perhaps you'll see me on the track too, someday?!?!

Good luck Gizmodude! I hope you have as much fun with the RC buggies. I am thinking of getting one myself after seeing a 4x4 ripping it up in the park including around the 400m track oval a few weeks ago... Looks like fun.

Thanks for the kind words, I am building a TeamLosi Racibg 22.2 rear drive buggy and wow talk about a detailed build ! Very impressed with the quality. On the track .. You bet that's what I'm shooting for, get better, learn , tweak do cleaner faster Laps! ��
