I just found out that Hobbico has a 7 channel Futaba clone receiver called a "Hobbico Command" for $100.00 Can. with crystal!!! My friend has one and reports that it is as good as his Futaba receivers. It looks identical in size and weight. I ordered 2 for my winter planes. :P

Considering that Hobbico owns the distribution rights to Futaba in North America, it wouldnt surprise me if it is identical to the R127DF on the inside.

These came out early last year. It is the same receiver as the Futaba with a different sticker on the front. The guys at my LHS got documentation on it when it came out and we all discussed it. I have a couple of them and they work just fine. (though stubbornly I still use loads of Hitec stuff)

It's hard to beat the price though
