Re: Twin Otter scale parts

Hi Dutch: While I would suppose someone out there makes windshield wipers, I'd go to Zeller's, Toy R US etc, and find a little car to get them from.
Call 905-685-5500 at Quality RC Field Products for lights, he has several different sets available in 4.8 or 6 volts, all designed to be run thru reciever, so no extra battery packs. Prices are fair.
The footsteps I made from 1/8 aircraft ply, cut to shape, drilled for 1/16 aluminum, then that covered with a piece of carbon fibre tube to get size.
Since I had already run the REAL antenna wire out thru the bottom, I just used an old antenna wire, and strung a fake one from fuse to vertical tail.
Same goes for the fuselage air scoop, balsa carved, then covered with Ultracote, I made mine functional to get some aire into fuselage for cooling batteries.FWIW flytwice

Re: Twin Otter scale parts

That's right,
you can find many options while you go at stores like mention by Flytwice.

But if not found,
you should give it a try on the imagination of your to make them your self.
Yea it mite take sometime to acheive that way ,, but rewarding it is at the end ...

Let us know what you will do !!
And show us how it turn out ...
