NAZE32 and Spektrum Satellite Receiver Setup Issue

I’m getting a little frustrated, perhaps one of you can help.
I purchased a Diatone 180 from a guy online.
It has a Nase32 board and a Lemon Satellite.
I have SPEKTRM2048 selected in the Cofig tab. in Cleanflight
My ports seem to look fine.
I can get it bind no problem but won’t let me save the bind.
If I try to put set spektrum_sat_bind = 0 in the CLI it doesn’t even show up so obviously I can’t type in save either.
The pervious owner was using a Spektrum DX6 and I’m using a DX8 but I can’t see that making any difference.
I did type feature in the CLI to see if Serial RX was enabled and it was.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks Very Much

I’m following these directions :

•Make sure that satellite has been connected correctly.
•Connect Naze32 to USB
•Open baseflight and connect to Naze32 (baseflight app in Chrome)
•From Configuration tab make sure that you have selected "Enable Serial-based receiver" and Serial receiver is correct (e.g. SPEKTRM2048 for DSMX)
•From CLI tab type: "set spektrum_sat_bind = 9" for DSMX or "set spektrum_sat_bind = 5" from DSM2
•type "save" and after Naze32 reboot remove USB cable (=Power off the Naze32)
•Wait a sec and reconnect the USB cable. After cold start satellite led should start blinking and transmitter should be turned on while pressing the bind button.
•After binding satellite led should be solid. Connect baseflight and use receiver tab to test that satellite is working correctly.
•Final step is to go to CLI tab and type "set spektrum_sat_bind = 0" and then type "save". This must be done so that satellite doesn't go back to binding mode when Naze32 is repowered again.

Re: NAZE32 and Spektrum Satellite Receiver Setup Issue

I am running a Naze32 Rev5 with a Spektrum satellite receiver with no problems. However, I bound my satellite using a receiver, and then installed just the satellite to the naze. Setting up the ports was the only pain I had.

Were you able to get it up and running?
