Thanks to everyone who contributed their thoughts, wisdom and experience in attempting to answer my question about hidden / trailing antennae. As usual, there is no concensus of opinion, but useful anyway. Since i'm using a Berg Thunderbird 4L RX, I may pose the question to Castle Creations and see what they say.

What does that word mean? We're social individualists! The cream of the crop, the best that there, we know all the answers to all the questions, just don't know if they any of us have the same answers.....

Dang! I meant to say I was using a "Berg Microstamp 4L " RX. It's the ESC thats a T-Bird...
Well, its true. Out of all the things I miss, I miss my mind the most.
