Never had flaps or retracts in anything yet. Are you just slowing them down to get a more realistic scale look to them.

When your done the programming, will all the retracts work at once?? Looks like front is slightly different timing then main.

I can't do anything about the front vs the main timing, they are on or off.

You have slow or very slow startup enabled on your ESC, turn it off.

You also just gave me VVS "vertical video syndrome"
