Does anyone know if somebody makes a 32-33% (suitable for approx 85cc) size SBach? Pilot doesn't but not sure if anyone else is producing these in a variety of sizes.

Tnx.

Re: SBach 342

Hi chad,
There is a company that is having some made in Pakastan at the moment, a little bigger than 33% mind you. They have started shipping them out just a little while ago.

I am in the middle of drawing a Sbach 300 in autocad right now myself, doesnt look that great though

Re: SBach 342

The RC Extreme machines 35% S-Bach is a good candidate for an 85cc.
The RCX plane is built very light. It is also the nicest looking S_Bach of them all. It has the round fuselage sides like the full scale.
If you go with a DA85 on a pipe, shouldn't be a problem.

Re: SBach 342

Hi Brad,

I don't see the 35% can you provide a link? I see a 40% and a 30%.

It wouldn't be powered with an 85 though Electric for me

Re: SBach 342

Sorry, my Error.
There was a thread on either RCU or FG for the RCX 30% done up electric.
It looked really good.

Re: SBach 342

Hi Chad,

This is the 36%
http://www.pilot-rc.com/ProductShow.aspx?id=84

This is the 29%
http://www.pilot-rc.com/ProductShow.aspx?id=86

Depending on what setup you have in mind I have seen (in the gas world) lots of 35%ers powered by DA85s that have a decent pull up.

The 36% that PilotRC makes seems to have a fairly light wing loading and if you can shave off a couple of lbs, should be a blast to fly a plane with a Wing Area of 2296 sq in
at 25lbs!

OR go to the dark side and the hell with electric and put a 100cc in (just kidding)

Cheers,

Will
