Picked this up on Christmas Eve, have a few metal gear servos lying around that will be going in, but still need to order a power system and retracts for it.
Quality is a few steps above any other jet I've owned, paint and finish is really nice.

Re: New: Habu32x

I have a motor and esc that where in my Hubu 32. All you need is a JETFAN 80 and Tail Cone from Tam and you are ready to go 8s, setup. I will post picture and specs with a price if you are interested. Or I could get the Jetfan 80 and Tail cone and set it up for you......esc fits in tail cone

Re: New: Habu32x

Picked up a 6S mega motor combo from Rick. Spooled it up in the airframe to about half throttle..lots of thrust. It's good for 135mph in a H32 according to Efflux RC

Should be ok for a starter power unit

Re: New: Habu32x

Yeah, should be a nice upgrade over stock, although now I'm thinking of swapping in a Wemo EVO rotor

Re: New: Habu32x

Well fellas I flew the 32x twice today. It was a bit daunting as I came out later in the day and winds were very light out of the WNW, (crosswind) as such headwind was almost nil, and I had no take-off flap setting available (only full flap for landing). Using the stock fan with an upgraded 6S Mega motor she took off about 3/4 down the runway (~170ft). Power was adequate, though certainly not ballistic, but what a pussycat this is! totally stable and locked in aircraft, once you find the CG and add any trim, it tracks on rails.

Landing required use of the entire field, even with full flap deployed she barely slowed at all, not too unexpected given the absence of headwind. My gear didn't fare too well, so i may end up going to a stock wire strut configuration.

All in all a great flying bird, although with the thrust available in stock configuration, you really have to manage the power and be mindful of your airspeed.
