Hi Wayne,

Here is a thread about electric combat:

http://rccombat.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=13425
(Should be some current "Pun Intended!" #s motors/batts..)
They have more power than the 'semi tuned' piped .30s ! (in Open Class)
No Problems with the 5min Combat time.

Lots of options here.

No doubt, anyone wanting to win at Maac Scale Combat will...
Get some Synthetic/Castor oil on them ! ! !

I'm a 'slimer', Why ask me !

Take care,
Have fun,

Interesting choice of words considering the number of midair collisions...

Re: Specifications for electric combat motors

I have a P40 Built right now with a axi motor and 18v a123cell axi motor 1200 kvm turning my 9X6 prop at 18500 rpm the plan weighs in at 2 lbs 14 ounces. I have flown severl times nowand it flew great will build more as i get time to build.. But electric will definaly rule in the combat world , i was able to do so tight of tuens etc and no stalling no lag just power apon power the vertical clim was veryy impressive. the engine from japan was only 20 bucks shipped to my door the a123 cells are 6 bucks each cell and fast charge 60 amps no problem i get full throttle 8+ minuits easy and still loads to spare but dont like to push it .. it does get hot but not bad.. Id post pics but me being who i am kinda got a bit silly with other egging me on over my sholder lower faster now inverted ...

Chears im not out just on the side lines wating for my job to get better and more money to have more fun ill see you guys in the near future be sure of that.
