Re: Looking for F9F-Panther drawing 100"span

Currently at 1/5 scale, but can be reformatted and printed even to a 1/3rd scale monster.
Very accurate.

Edited, ,
someone told me that I should delete the technical drawing

Re: Looking for F9F-Panther drawing 100"span

The fuselage incorporates an interlocking torsion box design.
The tail also incorporates the same interlocking torsion box design.
Other bits and pieces are keyed in as required for alignment.

The fuselage is built on 2 inside crutch rails.
The formers are cut as one-piece full sections, not half sections.
The 2 inside crutch rails hold all the formers in perfect alignment.
Then the stringers are fitted into the many notches, followed by 1/8" balsa sheeting.

Hinging spars are notched into the ribs 50%, this results in a 100% full depth spar.

The fin incorporates a short stuby airfoil projecting from it's sides. This allows the horizontal stabs to be removable for the bigger birds.

Hi Brad, , ,

Finally, , , at long last, , ,

It went up on the website just last week starting at 1/5 scale.

I don't get involved with money.
You need to send an email to Chris if you want it quoted at 1/4 scale.
