Hey guys, the event is coming up fast just a little over 2 weeks away. Just wanted to let everyone know that camping at the airport will be allowed this year. No hookups (primitive camping) and no camp fires though.

Hope to see lots of guys there. If you are needing a hotel, suggest you book soon. There is a very popular triathalon in town on the Sunday and a rock concert in the streets planned for Saturday night.

After a successful wingham jets, I hope our 2nd annual air show building off the success of last year will make this event even better.

If there are lots of turbines, I will make block times available for jets only in the air. Lots of great pilot prizes too!

Can we set up the sun shade on Friday and leave it at the airport. Is there a hanger to put our planes into overnight?

Hey guys - yes there will be a couple of hangers available (locked at night) for plane storage. No official Friday practice day, but you are welcome to ground setup Friday night for sure. I will check with the airport manager, but I am thinking we can probably do a couple of practice flights Friday night as well - I will confirm.

BTW - we will be doing a jet only $50 cash prize for jet pilots as well in addition to the regular pilot prizes. Everytime you fly, you get a ticket for the $50 draw.

Talked to the airport manager about Friday night flights. He only wants flying if a staff member is there. He's not sure if a staff member will be there Friday night or not yet. so for now, assume no Friday night practice flights, but setup of campers and sunshades etc is fine on Friday night.
