Just don't get caught cleaning up the scenery before 28th of June, its a federal offence. I'm sure you can have as many as you want after just for the asking.

I know its a no-no before the elections are over. But after that I'm doing the rounds in my neighborhood.

No new ones in my area yet, but we found one from last November's municipal election out in a field last week while searching for a downed plane . The sign looks to be still flyable.

Last fall I waited till 48 hours after the close of the polls, by which time all signs were supposed to be down, then I went nuts. I have a great stock of coro for whatever project I want, and some of them are really big, like 4 feet by 3 feet, and sometimes even bigger.

The big problem is scrubbing off the silk screened ink if you want to glue it.

Yes and scrubbing off the broken promises along with all those political hopes and dreams.....LOL. Well, I've often heard it said that politics is the most "promising" business. Now if we could only figure out a way to get them to keep them!

What's the protocol for this? Do you ask the homeowner whos yard it's hammered into? Do you ask the Liar (candidate)? Or do you just do the post midnight run?

A guy I know told me that where he lives the signs are usually battered up or taken down and ripped up way before the elections are over. So I told him to fetch them before the kids get to them.
