Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I was just thinking, if I decided to put my 42% Pilot 260 on the back burner and put it in storage i could put my 150L into my 40% Cub. Then I could take the 110CS that is currently in the Cub and put it in my 35% Pilot 260. Then my hanger would be 100% Chint free.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I was joking around but now I am thinking I have a good idea. After making the changes I could always throw my 210TSCS in the Pilot 260. It would be a little heavy but talk about stupid power with a 33x12 or 34x10 prop on it. I would just have to go with tail mounted rudder servos and keep the batteries towards the back. The torque of that engine is something and I bet it would rocket out of a hover. It weighs about the same as a quad. I weighed it once and I think the all up weight with ign and mufflers is around 13 lbs even. My old 222 was 12.5 lbs.

Your not hi-jacking this. Wait till all the riff-raff moves over to the vendors forum.
There may be pallets of, oh never mind.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I got out with Brad and Andy today with a few observations!!!

1) Andy's 3DHS 92" Edge flies amaaaazing!! And that EME60 on ES pipe is awesome!! Smooothest motor in it's class

2) That GP123 of mine is a pure monster on ES pipes! Not as smooth as that ZDZ112 (nothing is!!) But insane power! Just shreds the F29x9!! Prop ripping at the flick on the left stick if only it was as smooth / refined as the ZDZ, but I guess there's no such thing as the perfect motor!!! Hard to believe DA can still sell those 120's with this insane motor completely demolishing it in every aspect
